The app, which is expected to hit the store soon, would be downloaded to an iPhone or iPod. Users could then plant virtual trees in their device and can watch them growing! On later stage they could send seeds to their friends and so on... The conservation fund will be planting real tres for every virtual one starting from Gulf Coast by restoring its vulnerable wild life habitats. Sign up here for more updates regarding launch.

What iPhorest is really upto? Is it an awareness program? or just attracting the headlines with the 'green' label? Any way yet another interesting mobile app!
