Tim Cook may introduce a bigger iphone model in future

The Apple chief disses competitors who sacrifice screen quality for larger size, and hints that his company can do better.

While Apple maintains that the iPhone 5's 4-inch display is the best around, the company hasn't totally ruled out making a device with a larger screen.
When questioned Tuesday about Apple's stance on a 5-inch screen, CEO Tim Cook didn't exactly expound on the virtues of a larger screen -- in fact, he did just the opposite -- but he never wholly rejected the idea of going bigger either.
"My view continues to be that iPhone 5 has the absolute best display in the industry," Cook said on a postearnings call with investors. "Our competitors have made trade-offs to ship a larger display. We will not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist."
In Cook's world, iPhone customers appreciate screen resolution, color, white balance, reflectivity, and compatibility with applications over a larger display. Larger screens produced by competitors, he insinuated, sacrifice these elements. Still, his reasoning seems to leave room for a bigger iPhone, so long as Apple can solve for the associated display shortcomings and best competitors like Samsung.
At least one analyst seems to believe that Apple has a multi-display-size strategy already in the works. Topeka analyst Brian White thinks Apple will unveil an iPhone 5S in at least two, but possibly three, different screen sizes.
Apple finished its second quarter of fiscal 2013 with $9.5 billion in profit on $43.6 billion in sales. The company sold 37.4 million iPhones and 19.5 million iPads during the quarter.

Play Gameboy (GBA Emulator) On iPhone For Free (iOS 6)

            Ever since I started jailbreak in the days of iPhone Software 2 I thought emulators were one of the coolest additions available. If you don’t know, an emulator allows you to simulate a video game console inside of a program and can load game files, otherwise known as ROMs. Recently, ZodTTD released a beta version of an updated version of his GBA emulator, gpSPhone v8.0.0.
The update to gpSPhone adds an easy way to download roms onto your device by tapping the magnifying glass on the top right. This will lead to a search powered by CoolRoms. CoolRoms has a mobile layout that makes it extremely easy to download and play almost any game you want. Note that it is illegal to download roms in which you do not own a physical copy of.
On top off the rom finding connivence this new update offers a smoother interface and all around better working application. Many people have reported crashing on launch and this is most likely because of the nature of the beta. All significant errors should be fixed by public release. The controls now strech to the sides of the five inch screen on newer devices, however, due to the GBA resolution the playing screen will not fit the full five inch screen.

Today, the new development team the Eva3rs released the long anticipated Evasi0n jailbreak, the first tool to jailbreak all devices on iOS 6.0.1-6.1. The process is simple and only takes a few minutes and we will guide you through it on this post. The Evasi0n jailbreak can be downloaded on either Mac, Windows or linux. We advise that you back up your devices information before doing the process as at the worst possible outcome you may need to restore your device. Before we start make sure to disable the passcode lock if you have one on your device by going into settings > General > Passcode lock. You may turn it back on as soon as the jailbreak is complete.

1. Download the Evasi0n software, and open it on your computer (links here). You should see this screen:

3. Click “Jailbreak” and let the process begin

4. Partway through, Evasi0n will notify you to tap a new icon on your device. Unlock the screen and find the new application called “Jailbreak”. Tap that and your jailbreak will continue.

5. Wait for evasion to finish, and your device will reboot, showing the evasi0n logo and varios status messages.

6. When your device reboots, Cydia will be installed and your device will be jailbroken!

Thats it! As with all untethered jailbreaks, there is no danger of rebooting your device, so there is no final step to boot tethered!

iOS Version 6.1.3 was released to today, and it patches the Evasi0n Jailbreak as we warned our viewers earlier.
Warning: If you are on any device other than the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, or iPod Touch 4G STAY ON 6.1.2 OR LOWER. Updating your device to 6.1.3 will cause it to be non jailbreakable and non downgradable. We also recommend all users stay on 6.1.2 or lower as evasi0n is a much better jailbreak.

Redsn0w can jailbreak the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, or iPod Touch 4G semi-untethered (meaning you will need to run the last steps every time your device shuts down). This can be annoying so like we said previously this is only for people already on 6.1.3.

Steps
1. Download Redsn0w 0.8.15b3 from our Download Page and open it. On Windows set the compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2 and open it by right clicking and selecting run as administrator.
2. Connect your device to your computer via USB.
3. Click “Extras” followed by “Select IPSW” then select the 6.0 firmware files respective to your device. We are using 6.0 instead of 6.1.3 because the Redsn0w was intended for 6.0.[Download]
4. Navigate back to the start and click “Jailbreak”.
5. Hit Continue and make sure “Install Cydia” is checked, when prompted to enter DFU mode do so with the instructions on the screen. Watch our video tutorial for details.
6. Once Redsn0w completes close out, your device is now jailbroken but not ready for use.
Since this jailbreak is Semi Untethered you will need to complete steps 7-8 every time your device powers down completely or restarts. You will also have to do these steps now, or Cydia will not open.
7. Open Redsn0w, go into ”Extras” > “Select IPSW” enter the 6.0 files.
8. Select “Just boot” and then follow the process until Redsn0w is finished.
Your device should boot up tethered and working.
